I ran my 1st 10K this morning with my good friend Alicia. I was a bit nervous because I consistently run 5 miles but have never even touched 6 miles. It was out of the Beach Club in Stonebridge and it was pretty hilly but it was actually fun and such a great accomplishment. Something I can check off and "might possibly" move on to greater distance runs in the future, but for right now I'll just appreciate that I ran 6.2 miles!
this is what greeted me when I got home from the race...it was the BEST thing I could have gotten from Tim, Avery & Ella. it made my day :) i love them so much!!
avery took this one for us...she's really into the whole camera thing right now. guess it runs in the family!
