BIG SISTER!!

Well, I have been so terrible about blogging lately and I know this is my 1st post about the new baby so I'm going to try and be better about it for the rest of this pregnancy. We found out on Wednesday at our 20-week appointment that we are going to have another baby Girl!! Tim and I are very excited to watch our girls grow up together and Avery is starting to understand that she is going to be a BIG SISTER!

We found out we were pregnant January 8 and so far this pregnancy has been a little different than the 1st but not too much. I am really enjoying being out of the 1st trimester and having more energy and appetite!! I am really looking forward to enjoying the next 4 months with Tim and Avery until the baby arrives on September 9th.

This morning instead of wearing a dress to school (Avery is a little, okay a lot obsessed with dresses right now), I told her to pick out a shirt and pants instead. While perusing her clothes she said she wanted to wear the "ABC" shirt...how fitting since it says BIG SISTER!

I also got a little video of her that I wanted to share with you all:

Sunday Morning Hike

A couple weekends ago we took Avery out for a Sunday morning hike behind the neighborhood across the street...it is so peaceful back there and they have several long trails (rock roads is what I call them). She insisted on wearing a dress of course and her winter boots so to me in all these pics she looks like a true country girl :)

I don't know what my camera was doing on this shot but I've never taken a picture on my camera that turned out this way...just thought it was cool!

Avery was loving the dandelions...having fun blowing them away!

One for Me and one for Daddy!

Nothing's better than kisses from Daddy!

Tim and her were jumping from rock to rock...she was loving it!!

Mommy and Avery pic...I always forget to tell Tim that I'm using my camera on manual and it won't focus for you like auto. I still love the pic though...sorry Tim!!

Enjoying this Beautiful Weather

I am LOVING this weather!! We have been taking advantage of it as much as we can. The other day, after nap, we headed outside and Avery had a blast playing on the trail across from the house. It gave me an opportunity to play with my camera settings and take some new pics of her. Hope you are enjoying this weather too!!

Almost a real smile...one day I will get it on camera again :)

Her favorite "Purple" tree!

Curls, curls, and more curls!

I hate to think what she's going to do once these bushes grow big again. She's been running through them for the past month...back and forth down the rows.

I think she's going to be a runner just like her Daddy!

Easter Sunday at the Jurney's

We had a fun-filled Easter Sunday this year. Avery woke up and when she came downstairs her Easter basket was awaiting her. It was so fun to fill this year because she really is getting into the whole Holiday thing for every holiday we've been having. Candy, paper, stickers, pens, toys, etc...what more could a girl ask for??

We then went over to the Jurney's for Easter lunch and had a great time with the family and some of Molly's friends families.

Biting into a big ol' bunny...as big as her face!

Yummy dots - I had a hard time not eating these :)

These two were enjoying their Easter cupcakes!

After lunch we headed outside for our Easter egg hunts. The girls had one of their own in the front yard.

Then, the all the older kiddos had a big hunt on the side of the house. The Dad's supervising...yellow was obviously the color of the day with this group!

Tim with Cissy and Avery...a prelude of what's to come in September

Look at these kids patiently waiting...

And, their off!

The girls playing with their bubbles. They almost have it down.
