Doing Paperwork

Disclaimer...before you go any further in this post. Please know that the child was supervised the whole time while working and all appendages are still intact!!

This morning I was searching the whole house looking for a Hobby Lobby receipt so I could return some ribbon that I don't need to use. I've been placing old receipts and junk mail in a bag in the office to be shredded and since my preggo head keeps misplacing things I decided that it was time to shred all the papers in there with the hope that the receipt somehow would magically appear as I sifted through the bag. My shadow, a.k.a. Avery, of course wanted to help me so it only seemed like the natural thing to put her to work...I had a half-year of papers that needed to be shredded. Thanks Ms. Avery!

We Love Slushies at the Gym!!

We Love the Slushies at our new gym!! Everytime we are there we have to have one before we leave. They are delicious and they turn our tongue a different color which is soooo cool!!!

Cissy and Avery both enjoying their slushies. We had so much fun with the girls last night while the boys were painting the baby's room. Thanks boys...it looks great!!

Breakfast in Bed!!

Saturday morning, my sweet hubby went out for a run and then when he came home he asked if I wanted breakfast. Seeing that I was still in bed...I said sure, "How about breakfast in bed??" I was in luck and loving every minute of it!

Check out the spread he made me - and I ate every bite of it!!

See...Happy Pregnant Wife :) Thanks Tim!!!

Happy 4th of July!!

This year for 4th of July we started the festivities out at Mom and Dad's house for some pool time and a Fish/Shrimp Taco cook-off. There were 3 entries, Mollye and Brian with Salmon Tacos, Kristen and Kevin with Tilapia Tacos and Tim and I with Shrimp Tacos. We all were having a great time until it was time to prepare. Then the fangs came out :) Just kidding. Kitty, Rich, Mom, Dad and Mike were our judges and we were told that their vote could be bought for a price but to my understanding, there was no currency exchanged. We had a great time in the kitchen!

The kiddos were having a blast outside too! Swimming, chicken nuggets, hot dogs, popsicles and ice cream -seriously, what more could a kid ask for??

Then I got these 3 to really start goofing off for the camera:

Once the popsicles were eaten, we moved on to ice cream, sprinkles and chocolate sauce. I think I still owe Riley a red popsicle.

Before we left to go to our house for fireworks, Nana and I gave the girls a quick bath. I think they could have played for longer!

When we got to our house, we headed up the hill on our street to set up camp and watch the fireworks. It is one of my favorite things to watch...I just LOVE them!! I had gotten all the kids glow necklaces so we could keep track of them in case there were a lot of people out. There weren't that many but they sure did enjoy them. I shouldn't have brought my camera with me...terrible pics in the dark - all you can see are the glowing necklaces :)

After the fireworks show, we headed back to the house for some fireworks of our own. We have lots of sparklers...thanks Poppy!

Connor and his sparkler...these things were rocking!

Avery getting help from Darmi...watch the hair ;)

Caiden was so excited to shoot off our own fireworks...he had been asking me about it since we got to the house - Finally!!! PS: Caiden I have more for you whenever you come over :)

We hope you had a great 4th of July...we sure did and can't wait to do it all over again next year!

Happy Birthday Papa - Pops - Rich

For Rich's birthday this year the whole family went out to eat at one of our favorite little whole-in-the-wall but yet so delicious Italian restaurant's, Aboca's. My mouth is watering just thinking about it :) We had such a great time and the kids did so good too...makes for a very pleasant experience! It's always so nice to be able to spend time with the family to celebrate the good things in life!! Happy Birthday Rich, Papa, Pops!!

Here are the girlies playing with Molly's phone...I'm sorry if Avery broke anything on it.

Being serenaded by the restaurant staff...Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to You, Happy Birthday to Rich, Happy Birthday to You!

Seriously people...watch out because this was some yummy Tiramisu. Don't leave your hand in there too long because you might get a fork in it :)
