My Mom's friends got this adorable chair for the girls. Avery is loving it and she wanted Ella to try it out too!

Sleeping so soundly in her swaddle. Whoever invented the Miracle Blanket is a Genius!! So much better than the regular swaddles. I will be sad to see it go once she outgrows it. It's amazing how she can be so fussy and then I put her in this with a pacifier and you can see the instant relief and calmness overtake her face.

11 Weeks Old

11 Weeks...what?? How can this be?? My baby keeps growing so fast before my eyes - slow down sweet Ella!

Such a happy baby...loves giving out those smiles to anyone who is looking and talking to her. And, she has started to "talk" back to us. I don't know what she is saying, but we seem to have full conversations together. I think she will be a talker like her sister!!

She is sitting great now in her Bumbo and we has such great head control. We don't ever have to hold it anymore.

Had to close with this one. I was putting Ella down for a nap around dinnertime and I came back downstairs and this is how I found Avery. Earlier she was sitting in the chairs Darmi and Poppy brought over for the kids for Thanksgiving and singing all her songs she likes on our ipod. It was so fun to hear her - maybe she's the next big superstar :)

Good Morning

This is how my morning looked...a nice glimpse into what will be soon enough :)

While I was making Avery's breakfast I put Ella in her bumbo chair and Avery asked me to bring a stool over for her so she could sit with Ella while she ate. She talked to her the whole time and Ella just sat and smiled and cooed at her. It was so sweet and something I look forward to them doing more as Ella gets bigger:

Then, we had about 10 minutes before we had to leave for school and Avery asked that I bring Ella over while she played. Another session of talking, smiling and cooing :)

Halloween Night...Trick or Treat!!

Halloween night we went over to the Jurney's to trick-or-treat with the cousins and enjoy some family time together. Here are all the rascals dressed up in their costumes. What were the odds of us getting a pic of them all looking at the camera smiling?? None, but that's the best way!!!
