Avery's Baby

Now that Avery is starting to really understand the idea that a new baby is coming, she has grown attached to one of her doll babies that she has.

It's become even more apparent after having been with Mollye's family on Monday. Both of her brothers have baby girls 3 and 4 months old and Avery was really interested in them. She even went with Mollye to change one of them and then came back and pretended to do the same thing with a cabbage patch doll that Mollye's Mom had out.

She has really taken an interest in feeding the baby from her bottles...she says one is water, one is orange juice and one is milk. She also will go get her randomly sometimes and just hold her and kind of pat her back and say that the baby is crying and upset and she's trying to make her feel better. It is so cute to watch and so nice to see her doing these sweet things with her baby. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she will be such a good helper with her new "real" baby sister.
