Every Day is a "New" Day: Ella is 9-Months

our big-brown eyed baby girl turns 9-months today. we all went to the dr early this morning...and I mean early for this crowd :) she weighs a wopping 16 1/2 lbs - obviously just joking on the wopping part, but for as much food as she eats you'd think she would be a big roly poly!! she's bumped up into the 50th percentile for height, whatever that really means and just like aves has a big ol' noggin :)

ella fun facts:

she is sooooo squirmy and does not want to be held so she can cruise around in her army crawl/full crawl. but, then when she wants to be picked up it's only for a second, but at least it's enough to plant a quick kiss on her munchkin cheeks!

she will eat anything we give her and i've been starting to give her the things we eat. some food's she's tried and liked: spaghetti, ch eese, pizza, yogurt, real veggies (corn, carrots, peas, green beans), not so sure about tomatoes or watermelon - probably a texture thing, ice cream, crackers, pretzels, cheerios, cherries, blueberries, peaches, apricots, baked gouda, beans. we're trying it differently with this one!!

army crawler alert! she's moving and groovin' all over the place and seems to love the kitchen table and any and all shoes...trouble!

she is pulling up on EVERYTHING she can and wants to walk so bad!! tim says 1 year, i say 10 1/2 to 11 months. we'll see who's right.

loves taking baths with avery, in the kitchen sink, in her tub by herself. she's not picky, she just really enjoys the water. and, really loves the pool. over the weekend she sat in her float and just cruised around the pool.

she's starting to babble and does it alot in the car and it always makes me smile to hear her start talking.

she wakes up with the biggest smile for us and could play all day in her crib. she is also seriously in love with her LOVEY! everytime she sees it she breaks out in this huge grin and giggles, takes it from me and stuffs her face in it.

i so enjoy having her with me during the day. she's loves to get out of the house which is perfect for our family! i can't wait to see what the next few months bring!

ella ryann...for the longest time avery kept calling her ella "brian" because she thought that was her middle name and that we named her after my brother. i kept telling her it was ryann and she would say, no it's not. she finally has gotten it that it's ella ryann...but, it was so cute!
