Avery loves to go into our closets and wear our shoes around the house. She also loves to wear Tim's hats too. Here's a couple pics I got of her the other morning:

Avery Sayings

Seeing as we have a full talker on our hands, I had to share with you some of her new sayings:



Avery: Mom, (not Mommy anymore), Whaz that Sawnd?
Me: It's a dog barking.
Avery: Oh, a dog...then belly laugh



Avery: Mom, Whaz that Sawnd?
Me: It's and ambulance.
Avery: Oh, an ambliance...then belly laugh


This goes on and on!



We were in San Diego last week visiting some friends and their little girl Lily would say, Mommy Hold You when she wanted to be picked up. Well, wouldn't you know it, in the airport Avery was asking me to Hold You.

1st Pedicure by Darmi

Check out our Girlie-Girl!! It's official she has been sworn in to the pedicure department and there's no turning back. Thanks Darmi for Avery's 1st pedicure...don't her little toes look so cute!

New Ipod Customer

Avery is hooked on music and she has now become another of the gazillon fans of the infamous Apple brand. Check her out enjoying the tunes on my shuffle!

Mommy's B-Day

I had a great birthday weekend with friends, family and kiddos this year. Thanks everyone for making it so special for me!

Dinner at our house on my birthday with Darmi and Poppy and a yummy, yummy Coldstone cake - my favorite!


We went over to the Jones' house to play, have lunch and super yummy cupcakes to celebrate. Thanks Girls!


Adult time...yea!!! The Lairsen's joined us along with the Hales and Bozeman's for Kelli's 30th birthday too!

Well, it seems that after all we've been through in the past 4 months with Avery, we have finally received a diagnosis that we can be happy about, at least content with the results. Through 2 MRI's and many Dr appts, Avery has finally been diagnosed with Atypical TB. This is not the contagious, run of the mill lung infection...thankfully. This is just a random bacterial infection that she got from the earth, carpet, airborne, etc. We are so happy that it is not something they will have to operate on as long as it does not rupture, but just something we will continue to watch for the next few months to make sure it eventually will go away. The prayers and love we have received throughout this trying time have truly helped in making this diagnosis something that we are so happy about. We are so thankful to everyone that has prayed for our daughter and only hoped the best for our family. I am most impressed, actually in awe of my daughter for her amazing spirit and love that she has portrayed through this whole process. Children are truly a blessing and Avery has such an amazing spirit and has been a true sport through this whole process. We will continue to pray that this will go away on its own and that Avery will be the same beautiful, carefree child we love as she is now and hope to be always. NASCAR Here We Come!

Tim and his Dad (Rich), bros (Kevin and Mike), and brother-in-law (Don), went to NASCAR a couple of weekends ago. It's become a yearly ritual for the boys and when Tim brought the RV they used home, Avery was so excited. She must have played in it for at least an hour that night. Driving, exploring, etc.

Chatty Cathy's

This morning we had a playdate with the Lairsens who we still can't believe are actually back here...living here! The girls are really enjoying being around each other and Baby Kale is just a doll. The girls found Avery's phones and were walking around the house talking away...just like their Mommy's do :)

Easter at the Jurney's

What a fun Easter for little Girl and us! We 1st went to Lifetime for an Easter brunch and play time. Avery loved the Bounce House...it took some coaxing to get her out. She wasn't too interested in taking her pic with the Easter Bunny though...I don't blame her :)



This is how we got her out of the bounce house - the Easter egg hunt. Her 1st one..the girls didn't really get it this year. Probably next year.

Yummy cupcakes for all at Nana's! Everyone got to decorate their own cupcake and they all had a great time. Avery didn't even really eat hers...just really enjoyed decorating or should I say hoarding the sprinkle containers.
