Did You Know that Purses Can Make Cute Hats??

Before bath the other night, the girls became a little cuckoo and took this purse and turned it into a winter hat....whatever, I just go with the flow!  They thought it was so funny!  I think they are pretty funny!

Happy Halloween!

happy halloween from snow white on her way to school!  she was so excited to see all her friends and go to school dressed up!

and here's ella sans tutu at her kindermusik class.  see the bear she is holding??  she is in love with this bear and wants to hold it whenever possible during class.  we are getting better, but it's an obsession i'm trying to break.

we went to the jurney's to trick-or-treat and look at our sweet girls in the family.  i can't believe i got ella to look with the other 2.

check out the ghost face running around the house.  i thought he told me he was "death" face.  either way, he had the fake blood coursing through the mask!

poor girls...he was FREAKING them out :)

but see, there was a ninja behind them to keep them safe!

and they were off! they were running to every house and got quite a stash.

ella and i had to return early to their house while the kids finished trick-or-treating.  she was really enjoying playing with the cauldron of smarties by the front door. i was surprised she didn't start eating them.  she is very into taking things out and then putting them back.

Super Saturday

This past Saturday was one of those glorious days outside and our day was jam-packed and it was great!

Ella's in the process of dropping her morning nap (imagine tears streaming down my face right now) so we dressed the girls up and took them to Kinley & Kale's Halloween-themed birthday party.  I didn't do the whole costume thing for Ella this year because Kitty had made her a super-cute onesie and I made her a tutu so I thought that would work.  Avery wanted to be Snow White so score on that costume too because we already had all she needed :)   I wish it would so easy every year!

My cute little Ella!  I just want to squeeze her cheeks and give them lots of kisses!

Avery got her face-painted by the clown they had.  She made a crown on her face to go with her costume.  She loved it and kept asking me all day if any of it had come off.

Bouncing in the bounce house they had...all to herself!

Aves and Kinley...such pretty princesses without their costumes.  Those came off in no time :)

Oh yeah...she's found the slide!

Pumpkin bowling!  Such a cute idea. The kids loved it!

After Ella went down for nap, I took Avery up to Watters Creek for their Halloween festivities.  Hayride, band, tattoos, hair spray color, crafts but best of all...every store participated in trick-or-treating.  Avery loved it because she got so much candy and I loved it because I got to check out all the stores.  Found some new ones I have to go back to!

Tim had taken Ella to the park after her nap so Avery and I met them there.  I don't know where these kids get their energy!

Somebody please help me get up to the top so I can slide down...Again!

She thought she was so cool because she was swinging higher than Tim's head

Ms. Adventure here trying to climb up this thing.  She's so adventurous and even followed Avery up to the big slide and slid down with her.  Don't worry Tim and I followed her all the way up and Tim let her slide with Avery.

Last shot of me and Aves before we left to take them to Darmi & Poppy's for the night.

Happy parents ready for date night!

Homemade Smoothies

Found these old pics from sometime this summer.  The girls LOVE it when we make smoothies at home and I wish I could say I make them often, but we just don't so it's like a super-cool treat when the bullet comes out.  I should do it more for them...on my list :)  And, each of them has to have their own cup and continually trade because they always want what the other has, of course!

the crazy face and eyes is starting to scare me a little ;)

Popsicles

Who doesn't like popsicles??  Well, besides me I guess :)

I don't know about your kids, but my oldest lives for dessert and I try to give her good dessert choices so one thing I buy is sugar-free popsicles.  Hey, what she knows right now won't hurt her and plus she can't tell the difference anyways.

Well, she's gotten the little one hooked on them too!  How does a kid who's never had a popsicle, know how to eat the whole thing, even turning it to the side when she gets down to the stick part??  Maybe I should start letting her use a fork by herself since she seems to know how to get it into her mouth.

Going for a Ride

Everyone needs a push now and then and the beauty I've become to realize is that having an older sibling around let's me not be the one that is doing all the legwork :)  Plus, listening to them giggle and have fun together and being able to watch it with a first-row seat is so much more fun!!
