Gigi & Aunt Amy are In Town

I've finally had some time to go through my photos from the past couple of weeks and I found this wonderful photo from when Tim's Grandma a.k.a. Gigi, and Aunt Amy were in town. What a great photo of the 4 generations...Gigi, Tim's Mom - Kitty (a.k.a) Nana, Tim, and Avery.

We are really into pointing right now

Chatterbug

What's better than hearing a child's laughter (I swear it is one of the best things I have ever heard in my life. I like it so much that I am that silly Mom that will try and do about anything to hear it over and over again)...one that is chattering away to themselves as they lay in bed before they go to sleep :)

Ms. Jordan chatted away this evening for a good 30 minutes before finally settling in and falling asleep for the night. I just listened to her and watched her on the monitor for awhile as she rolled over and over and over while chattering to herself and thought to myself, that's my Girl! Thank You!

"Dust, Dust, Dust"

At our new Kindermusik class, we've learned a song called "Dust, Dust, Dust". Our wonderful instructor, Ms. Jeannie, has taught the class how to actually "Dust" along with the words to the song. Well, my child has decided to take it a step further when she comes home and she now "Dusts" around the house. And before anyone even asks, she's not available! Now, if I could only get her to do the bathrooms :)

Sprint Triathalon

My brother Brian, or as we now refer to him..."Uncle Brian", completed his first Sprint Triathalon over the weekend. For those of you who don't know, a Sprint triathalon consists of a 750meter swim, about 13 mile bike ride and a 5k run. We were there to watch him cross the finish line and what a beautiful day he had to complete this amazing task. We are so proud of him! Now it's my turn (just kidding!).

We even brought lunch to the event. Have to keep a girl fed!

When the Boys are Away...the Girls Will Play!!

This past weekend Nana, Aunt Molly, Catherine, Avery and I went to experience the "Great Pumpkin Festival" at the Arboretum. If you have never been, I highly recommend it. It is so beautiful there. The girls looked super cute in their Halloween dresses, designer originals by Nana of course!!

Hi Mommy!!

These flowers are so pretty...I just HAVE to touch.

Ms. Catherine...what a sweetie!

For some reason...the stroller was the most exciting place for the girls. Oh yeah, that's where the food and drinks are :)

Avery especially loved the Frog Fountains. She was tentative at first but then couldn't get enough of running through the fountains. Even after we were done playing and changed into dry clothes Nana had to run after her because she was going back for more! What is it with kids and water??? It did look fun though. Just watching her have a blast sure did make me want to join in...next time :)

This is the BEST!!

Our Cutie Pie

I can't stop taking pictures of this cutie! It's not hard when you have an easy subject to photograph! No commentary is needed...the pictures speak for themselves :)

Now I Actually have to Write Something??

Well, I've been looking forward to starting a blog for some time now, and to be honest I spent more time then I care to admit trying to set it up. But then, once it was done and ready for me to make my 1st post, I froze up thinking about how I was actually going to have to WRITE something. I'll be honest, English class was not my best class so all you English majors, please bare with me on the commas, spelling (actually I'm pretty good at that especially if you've ever played Cranium with me!), paragraph formatting, etc. I'll try my best to keep this place interesting and making you want to come back for more!

Arboretum Fun!

Always trying to think of something to do, we took a trip down to the Arboretum to meet Nana, Molly and Cissy. We got there a little early to take some pics before they got there.

Checking out the goldfish pool. There are some really big fishies in there. I hope she can get her head out.

Hi Mommy!

Nana brought the girls Halloween dresses so we changed them real quick for some cute pics.

They enjoyed hanging out at the strollers the best. That's where all the food was!

Right before we left we found the Frog Fountains. This was the best of the whole day! Avery had such a blast it was so terrible to make her leave. We will be back!

This face says it all!
